When guests tip, the wild can benefit too
Guests who fall in love with a place often want to give something back to it, so we made supporting conservation as easy as thanking the team.

There's a particular kind of quiet that settles over a game vehicle after a really special sighting, and anyone who has spent time on safari will know it. It's often in those moments that guests start asking how they can help protect what they've just seen, and whether any part of their visit goes back into the land and wildlife around them.
Many lodges and reserves already support conservation work, from anti-poaching efforts to community projects, yet giving to it has usually meant a separate donation page, a leaflet in the room, or a conversation that never quite happens before check-out.
Giving back in the same moment as saying thanks
With SafariTip, properties can showcase the conservation causes they support right alongside their staff on the tipping page. Each cause has its own profile with photos and a short story, and guests can add a donation in the same checkout as their tips, choosing an amount in their own currency.
Keeping it all in one place matters, because generosity is a feeling that fades quickly once guests are back in the airport queue. Offering the option while they're still looking out over the view makes it far more likely that the intention turns into a donation.
Clear for guests, clear for causes
Donations are always shown separately from staff tips, both at checkout and on the thank-you screen, so guests know exactly what went to the team and what went to conservation. Properties can set suggested donation amounts for each cause and choose which cause guests see first, and every cause also gets its own page and QR code that can be shared on its own.
Why this matters to us
Safari tourism depends on wild places, and so do the livelihoods of the guides, trackers, and lodge teams we built SafariTip for. Making it easier for guests to support conservation isn't a side project for us, it's part of the same idea, which is that the people and the places that make a safari special both deserve to be looked after.
